Attached are examples of the technical reports produced from the Online Assessment element of the registration process. These show the position against both the clauses and sub clauses of the standard, as well as against the generic performance drivers set for this assessment.

The HPA Assessor will use these to inform them about risks to registration and to help design their site visit.

Where significant risks are identified that would necessitate a higher level of on-site activity than had been planned, this would be discussed with the client prior to the visit. The outcome of such a discussion, by agreement, could be either:

  • An increased length of time for the site visit
  • A delayed site visit, allowing additional time to address the issues identified, with the opportunity to re-run this assessment again at a future date after such improvements to the system have been made.

In either case, a new assessment plan will be agreed between the registering company and the HPA, together with any adjusted commercial arrangements that this change would incur.
